We are finally at one of the most magical times of the year when every game means win or go home until next season. There are many great tournaments at different levels of college basketball. One of the best tournaments is the NAIA Division 2 National Tournament. I was fortunate to coach in that tournament 6 years and advanced to the "Fab Four" in 2013. There are not many atmospheres that match the D2 tournament. The 32 team single elimination tournament is played at one gym over six days. The first round takes two days with games starting at 8:30 AM until deep into the evening. It really is a great experience for fans, coaches, and players to be a part of. In honor of the start of the NAIA D2 National Tournament starting this week (March 7) I am going to display two horns sets that was used by my team to help us succeed in post season.
Horns 49
This horns set is designed as a quick hitter to a get a lob dunk. It is great as an after timeout play or when you really want to take the momentum away from your opponent.

The goal of this set is to get possible mismatch in the post for your big man. If you are playing a team who switching screens then you could end up with a guard defending a post player. If the defense stops the initial option then a quick dribble handoff to your point guard and an opportunity to attack the rim opens up. Click Horns 31 to add this play to your playbook
